Personnel on the move

WARRINGTON-BASED Prospect (GB) Ltd has recruited Jane Thompson as development manager to drive its ambitions to secure a £40m turnover within five years.

Ms Thompson has more than a decade’s experience in the commercial property sector. She was previously a partner in charge of development consultancy at King Sturge and senior lending manager at the Nationwide Building Society.

Prospect is a subsidiary of Liverpool social housing and regeneration organisation The Riverside Group.

THE Institute of Directors (IoD) has appointed business development specialist Darrell Matthews as its new North West Regional Director, succeeding Laura Wolfe.

Mr Matthews, of Southport, spent 17 years in the telecommunications industry, running

business development and programme management operations for BT, before becoming a business consultant and working in marketing in the private healthcare sector.

LYNNE DUXBURY has been promoted to sales manager at the North West operation of housebuilder Bellway.

Ms Duxbury has worked for Bellway for over 10 years, most recently as field sales manager. Before joining the company she was a producer at the BBC in Manchester.

Based at Bellway’s Warrington office, Lynne will be responsible for managing a strong team of 20 sales advisors and overseeing the sales department.

SUZANNE SMITH has joined licensed training provider CPL Training as head of the company’s corporate arm.

Former British Institute of Innkeeping membership manager Ms Smith will be based at the company’s Birkenhead office.

Ms Smith has also worked at the Greenalls Inn Partnership and the Hospitality Training Foundation.
