* ACCOUNTANCY and business services group Baker Tilly has appoint- ed Ian Ainsworth as manager of its restructuring and recovery team in Liverpool.

Mr Ainsworth, who has eight years’ experience dealing with administrations, receiverships and liquidations, joins the 16-strong department from Kroll.

* MARK Tyers has joined large training and conference provider Partnership for Learning (PfL) in Speke as an IT trainer. Mr Tyers, 29, of Anfield, who was trained at PfL, will train clients to use Microsoft Office packages to an advanced level.

* FRIENDLY society National Deposit has appointed Andy Jones, of Chester, as intermediary sales consult- ant for the North of England. Mr Jones joins National Deposit from Interbay Commercial where he worked for 18 months as a business development manager. He will market National Deposit’s Healthcare Deposit Account to intermediaries across the North of England.

* JENNY Stewart has been appointed as head of client services at Liverpool Chamber of Commerce. Ms Stuart, whose career has taken her from the Diplomatic Service to Vernons Pools and the Forum of Private Business, joined the Chamber two years ago as head of membership. She will now also head the Chamber’s marketing and events departments.
