BOOTLE was the scene of double celebrations when regeneration specialist Priority Sites, joined by representatives from Sefton Council and InvestSefton, marked the start on site of a £14m business park, and the local football club that the developer is sponsoring marked the handover of its clubhouse.
Priority Sites, working closely with InvestSefton Sefton Council and English Partnerships will develop 155,000 sq ft of high specification commercial premises on Priority Sites Business Park, the former Vesty factory site on Bridle Road.
Units will range in size from 3,500 sq. ft and will be a combination of hybrids, where office and assembly space is split 50/50, and traditional industrial units. The scheme is expected to complete in April of 2008, and before a brick has been laid, enquiries are strong.
The Priority Sites Business Park scheme is significant for the developer and the region, as it will mark a new “green” era of development, with 10% of the energy supply for the 21 units being provided by integrated wind power generation sources.
