New lettings at business park spark demand

SEFTON Business Park has secured three new lettings totalling more than 9,000sq ft.

The 33,000sq ft workshop develop- ment was constructed by Northern Trust for retention in their portfolio.

The scheme, with a value of around £2m, provides 15 workshop units in sizes ranging from 997 - 4,195sq ft.

Units 19 and 20, totalling 4,871sq ft, have been let to Alex Stewart Agriculture on a three-year lease, while unit 21 (4,195sq ft) has been let to A S Metallurgy (Liverpool), also on a three-year lease.

With seven out of the 15 units now let and three further units under offer, demand is expected to be high for the remaining units.

Fred Mahoney, vice chairman, Atlantic Gateway Programme, said: “It is great to see businesses moving into this high-quality business park. I am confident that the site will soon be fully occupied.”
