COMMERCIAL property specialist WR Estates has expanded its portfolio with the £4.6m acquisition of Engineer Park in Deeside.
The Wigan-based company has acquired the 11-acre industrial park, which is located in Sandycroft, after securing funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
Engineer Park is home to more than 25 businesses including Amtrak, Roma International, ANC Parcels, Polimoon and Chester Glazing.
It comprises of 96,000 sq ft of industrial and warehouse accommodation, ranging from start-up units to 10,000 sq ft premises. The park was built in the 1980s.
William Ainscough, director of WR Estates, said: “Engineer Park is an established industrial site that has excellent transport links and will complement our existing property portfolio.
“We are very pleased to have secured this site as it fits with our plans to expand the number of properties we own across the North West.”
