City milestone for Northern Brickwork

NORTHERN Brickwork Contracts, the appointed Thin Joint contractor at Norris Green’s large-scale regeneration scheme, Ellergreen, has reached a landmark stage in its build work, having completed over 120 homes under phase one of the project.
The Liverpool-based firm is one of the country’s leading Thin Joint specialist contractors who began work at the project in June 2006 under a £2.1m contract. The decision to use the Thin Joint system and to appoint a local contractor led to a double celebration for the company.
Guy Blundell, director of Northern Brickwork, said: “This is a very important contract for us as it showcases both our abilities and strengths as a contracting team, as well as the benefits in using the thin joint system.
“As a Liverpool company, being part of the team that helps make a difference to this area has also been a big attraction for us.”
