Juvela hails move into new home

FOOD company Juvela is taking more than 4,000 sq ft of space at a development at International Business Park, Speke, to use as its main UK headquarters.

Scheme owner, Business Homes, said Juvela is to move there from its former home in Wavertree Business Park.

Juvela – a subsidiary of International consumer food company Hero – is a leading prescription brand of gluten free products in the UK and Ireland.

The new HQ will also house a demonstration kitchen on the ground floor of the two-storey building, designed for the testing of Juvela’s new recipes and products.

John Phillips, commercial director at Juvela, said: “This is a great development and it has everything that we needed in a HQ premises. It is in a superb location with excellent access.

“The flexibility of the office layout was a key factor in our choice that enabled us to be able to create our demonstration kitchen.

“The development and address has a prestige curb appeal that we would wish to be associated with our international brand.”

This latest sale now leaves only one of the nine units left available for sale at Business Homes’ first Merseyside project.

The development, completed in June 2007, comprises of nine self-contained, two-storey office units which range in size from 2,648sq ft to 6,168sq ft. Units have the potential to be split to provide smaller floorplates from 1,324sq ft.

Buildings are available to purchase on a 999 year leasehold basis or alternatively to let on flexible lease terms to be agreed, with further details available through the joint agents Mason Owen or DTZ Donaldsons.
