Homebase store opening

HOMEBASE, the UK’s second largest home improvements retailer, is nearing completion of its fit-out at St Modwen’s recently- completed Bridge Retail Park, Runcorn, Cheshire.

The 30,000 sq ft store includes a 10,000 sq ft garden centre and is opening this month to capitalise on the post-Christmas period.

St Modwen has agreed terms on the remaining 9,000 sq ft unit with a national retailer.

Paul Batho, of St Modwen, said: “Bridge Retail Park is a superb location with direct access off the Runcorn Expressway. I am con-fident that Homebase will be a great addition to Runcorn’s retail offer.”
