DEVELOPER David Wilson Homes is relocating its North West office to the Bridgewater Place scheme at Warrington’s Birchwood Park.
David Wilson, which is a division of housebuilder Barratt, will take more than 12,000 sq ft at Bridgewater, which is the second phase of a 250,000 sq ft development.
Its 60-strong team is moving from the builder’s current home in Warrington’s Cinnamon Park.
David Wilson managing director Gary Mills said: “Bridgewater Place was selected following a comprehensive search of the Warrington area, on the strength of its strategic location, quality of construction and generally excellent working environment.”
Bridgewater Place was recently named regional winner of the British Council for Offices Commercial Workspace award. It then went on to secure for the park the Property Executive North of England Office Award for Excellence.
Bridgewater Place’s architects BDP also won a gold award in the Roses Design Award commercial project category.
MEPC Birchwood Park's managing director, Jonathan Walsh, believes that the latest letting sets the seal of success on Bridgewater Place.”
Other occupiers at the scheme include the Department of Work and Pensions, wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Celtic and GB Oils.
Mr Walsh added: “We are confident that the remaining building at 37,556 sq ft will draw more major private and public sector occupiers attracted by the development's high profile location, its accessibility and the amenities that Birchwood Park can offer businesses and their employees.”
