BANK of Scotland Corporate has appointed Paul Devenport as area director for its real estate business in Liverpool.
Mr Devenport will lead a team of 16 people looking after a portfolio of nearly 100 clients in the commercial property sector.
He joins the team from his previous post as director in the bank’s Manchester office.
Having originally joined Bank of Scotland as an associate director in 2001, Mr Devenport has worked in a variety of roles across both the commercial and real estate businesses.
Reporting in to Derek Bald, head of real estate for North of England, Mr Devonpart and his team will be based at the bank's offices in Castle Street.
After a short period the team will be reocating to new premises at No 5 St Paul’s Square – which is in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district.
He takes charge of a team that has already completed a string of recent high value deals including the £16m purchase of 76 King Street in Manchester for Liverpool-based UK Land & Property, a £200m funding line for Spencer Holdings and funding for the £63m redevelopment of two sites for Plas Madoc Group in North Wales.
