A LIVERPOOL struct- ural engineering com- pany that originally unlocked the potential of Albert Dock has been recognised for two outstanding projects.
Curtins Consulting has won awards for the John Rylands library project in Manchester and Urban Splash’s Fort Dunlop development in Birmingham.
The Institute of Structural Engineers in the North West decided the Manchester scheme was best sustainable project, and the Birmingham one the best outside the North West.
Company founder Bill Curtin surveyed Albert Dock prior to its regeneration.
The company now has 200 staff in 11 UK locations.
