A GRADE II listed building in the heart of Liverpool’s business district has been sold for £2m.
The property, 10-18 Castle Street, is a mixed use development offering retail and office accommodation and its tenants include Carphone Warehouse and Furness Building Society. Property consultancy CB Richard Ellis represented the fund manager Threadneedle on the £2m disposal to an investor who was based in Scotland.
CBRE associate director of investment Rehan Zaman said: “The profile of Liverpool’s high concentration of quality, historic buildings has never been higher.
“Furthermore, ambitious plans to improve the city centre as a retail, office and residential area through initiatives such as the Big Dig and Liverpool One have boosted its att-ractiveness to investors.”
