NHS Trust to move into business park

DEVELOPER Riverside Park has secured Wirral Primary Care Trust (PCT) as its latest tenant at its scheme at Wirral International Business Park.

The Condition Management Programme – a recently- formed initiative by Wirral PCT that works in partnership with Job Centre Plus to help people move forward in their lives after illness or injury – has taken 4,300 sq ft of space at the Riverside Park for its main headquarters

Joint agents Mason Owen and GVA Grimley acted behalf of Riverside Park.

When it was originally set up by Wirral PCT and Job Centre Plus almost two years ago, the Condition Management Programme’s remit only covered Wirral and part of Merseyside.

It is due to the success of the programme that the team has now doubled and will now be rolled out across the whole of Merseyside.

The team of 31 staff is set to move into its new offices at Riverside Park in May. The development, when completed, provide 250,000 sq ft of accommodation.

Neil Perris, programme manager at Wirral PCT, said: “Over the next year, the Condition Management Programme will seek to see 2,300 people a year to help patients with a long term physical or mental health condition back into work – the idea is to help people to self- manage their condition so that they can reach their full potential.”
