Wave Homes was established five years ago as a public-private partnership involving The Riverside Group.

Philip Key, managing director of Wave, said: “We are delighted to now be owned by Riverside, with 80 years experience as one of the UK’s leading social housing and regeneration organisations.”

Mr Key added: ‘‘This acquisition will ensure Wave’s continued success and expansion throughout the UK.

“The Riverside Group prides itself on being innovative and Wave Homes provides a unique timber frame building system which offers high levels of insulation, airtightness, minimal shrinkage and reduced thermal bridging specifically aimed at meeting the Code for Sustainable Homes and the social housing market.”
