A SERIES of deals at Widnes Trade Park has seen headline rents on the site rise to £6.50 per sq ft.
Now 60% pre-let, Property Alliance Group’s Widnes Trade Park development is capitalising on the healthy demand for quality industrial and distribution space in the local area. Occupants in the new scheme include Screw Fix, BSS, Edmondson Electricals and Dulux.
The 50,000 sq ft speculative development, in Dennis Road, is in the heart of the Widnes Waterfront regeneration zone and consists of eight high-quality, high-specification units with good access.
Paul Cook, associate director of industrial agency at CBRE, the agent for the site, said: “With space for new developments now in short supply in historically popular areas, Widnes is increasingly gaining ground as a destination of choice for expanding and relocating companies.
“Not only is the quality of accommodation available in Widnes Trade Park impressive, but the fact it has achieved record headline rents shows that demand remains strong in this sector.
“We are delighted to have played a part in finding some familiar names a new home.”
