A FIRM specialising in the design and manufacture of fitted kitchens is taking 14,000 sq ft at Priority Sites’ Brookfield Business Park development, in Liverpool.
Magnet has signed up for a 15-year lease at the park, located off Brookfield Drive, in Aintree.
Regeneration specialist, Priority Sites, who recently completed the first phase of development at the park, has reported a very high level of enquiries in the 57,000 sq ft of new business accommodation.
Murray Carr, area development manager for the company, said: “Following the completion of the park early this year, we have received significant interest in the units from both local and national companies.
“The fact that a national firm such as Magnet has chosen to locate here is great news and further testament to the quality of the development.
“We are now progressing plans to bring forward a further 76,000 sq ft of speculative industrial space at the park, in response to this very successful first phase of development.”
Andy Cartlidge, head of group property & store development at Magnet, added: “As part of our ongoing national growth strategy, we are pleased to announce that we have recently taken out a 15-year lease on a property in Aintree with a view to opening a stunning new kitchen showroom later this year.
“This will offer us an opportunity to grow our brand in the North West whilst offering employment for numerous local kitchen designers and installers.” Priority Sites developed Brookfield Business Park, in partnership with Liverpool Land Development Company, now part of Liverpool Vision.
Rob Monaghan, Liverpool Vision development director, said: “We’re pleased to see new invest-ment by this national company into Brookfield Business Park. Our long-term vision for the site is now being realised and reflects the quality of the business space and environment that’s now on offer.”
The joint appointed agents on the scheme are Hitchcock Wright and Partners and GVA Grimley.
