THREE Grade II-listed blocks in Vauxhall could be turned into flats after being put on the market.
The former tenement blocks in Eldon Grove were built in 1912 in Tudor black and white style, but have been derelict for many years.
They were the first multiple-occupied buildings in the city with inside baths and lavatories, and were given Grade II-listed status in 1985.
Agent Edward Symmons is now marketing the complex, which has planning permission for 48 flats and 50 car parking spaces.
It says the former Bevington Street Recreation Ground in front of the buildings also has scope for further development, subject to planning consent. In 2001, a planning application was recommended for approval, for eight homes to be built there.
