Property law talk pulls in the crowds

BARRISTERS at Liverpool’s Atlantic Chambers have been overwhelmed by the response to their inaugural Property Law Conference.

The one-day conference, which takes place at the Radisson SAS Hotel, Liverpool, on Wednesday, October 15, was booked up within days.

Hosted by specialist property barristers from the chancery and commercial group at Atlantic Chambers, guest speakers include Liverpool Chancery District Judge Heyworth, Rachel Watkin, a partner at commercial law firm Halliwells, and Charles Hubbard, a surveyor at Edmund Kirby.

The conference will reveal the latest developments in areas including insolvency, joint ownership of property, tenancies and property market and valuation issues.

Atlantic Chambers, based in Cook Street, in the heart of Liverpool’s legal and commercial district, has one of the largest groups of barristers specialising in property law in the North West.

Andrew Williams, who is chairing the conference, said: "Here at Atlantic Chambers, we have a large specialist property law group, and so we thought it would be fitting to host a conference to cater for the large property law market among solicitors in Merseyside any beyond."
