ESTATE agency chain Venmore says property owners should be aware of planning law changes in October.
The firm is encouraging property owners to take advantage of the Government’s new regulations on property extensions.
Venmore partner Phil Furlong said: “Essentially, property owners will be spared the expense and time of dealing with the planning system.
“Some of the main changes will mean owners of terraced properties, for example, can extend the roof space by up to 40 cubic metres and other properties up to 50 cubic metres without planning permission.
“Property owners can use this legal change to improve and maximise the value of their home or investment.”
