DEICHMANN Shoes, advised by DTZ, has acquired a retail outlet in Liverpool city centre.
Deichmann will occupy the former Sports World unit, in Paradise Street, comprising 10,290 sq ft set over three floors on a 15- year lease at a rent equivalent to £203,000 per annum.
The store is situated opposite the entrance to Grosvenor’s Liverpool One scheme.
Richard Barker, head of retail at DTZ, in Manchester, said: “Liverpool is a perfect example of Deichmann’s conscious switch to larger stores in prime retail areas, coupled with a more aggressive acquisition program.”
The acquisition follows hot on the heels of more Deichmann deals in the North West, including units in Birkenhead, Cheshire Oaks, Manchester and Lend Lease’s Golden Square in Warrington.
