Units now with greener energy

PRIORITY Sites, which specialises in delivering commercial premises for the small firms marketplace, has achieved A grades for its energy performance levels on a number of new business units across the Merseyside region.

The regeneration specialist has also become one of a handful of developers in the country to achieve a lower than carbon neutral rating on one of its recently completed industrial units in Bootle.

The Energy Performance Certificates, which become compulsory from the October 1 for all buildings sold or rented after this date, measure the energy efficiency of buildings against a variety of benchmarks including construction, insulation, heating, ventilation and the type of power used.

Priority Sites’ Brookfield Business Park development, near Aintree and the Vesty Business Park development, in Bootle, have achieved top A ratings on a range of new commercial buildings.
