Accountants on move

THE Liverpool operation of accountancy firm Grant Thornton has signed a deal to take newly-refurbished space at the Royal Liver Building.

The 15-year lease commits the 120-strong practice to Liver Buildings where it has had an office on the first floor since 1995.

Neil Sturmey, Liverpool managing partner, said: “It makes perfect commercial sense for us to continue to be associated with the Royal Liver Building, one of the most recognisable and enduring symbols of Liverpool's success.

“We’ve been here for over 100 years, and ours is a long-term commitment. Rain or shine, we will continue to support Liverpool’s established and emerging businesses.”

The practice will move next year from the first floor to new accommodation on level four.
