Engineering firm Amec wins major deal with oil giant BP

Cheshire engineering firm Amec says today it has won a major deal from BP for project management work on the oil major’s offshore schemes around the world.

The company is one of three firms selected by BP for the four-year deal, likely to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

The long-term agreement involves engineering and project management services on a raft of BP’s developments such as oil rigs.
