Magners Cider maker C&C reports summer sales down 10%

Magners Cider maker C&C is today reporting a 10% fall in cider sales so far this summer and is issuing a warning over half-year revenues

The Dublin-based group, which also makes Irish whiskey Tullamore Dew, says a group-wide sales decline of 8% for the four months to June 30 will leave interim revenues short of last year.

But the group adds that better profit margins were protecting earnings and would offset the expected half-year sales disappointment.
