A GUIDE for businesses to surviving the credit crunch that has been put together by the Liverpool team of Grant Thornton is now available to be downloaded.

The 10-point guide provides a quick reminder of some of the areas for business owners to consider to improve the readiness of their business and even turn conditions to their advantage.

It also emphasises the importance of cash – to the business and to the owner.

The guide has already been adopted nationally by Grant Thornton and now it is available for LDP Business readers.

Liverpool-based entrepreneurial advisory partner, Howard Hackney, who was behind the project, said: “Anyone who traded through the recession of the 90s has the experience and scar tissue to weather the storm, but younger companies may need help to plot a way forward. "
