M&Y secure five-year contract

FAMILY-RUN firm M&Y Joinery and Building Maintenance has secured a five-year contract with housing company The Regenda Group.

Regenda, which manages over 13,000 social houses throughout the North West, appointed M&Y after undertaking a tendering process through the Official Journal of the European Union.

The St Helens company will provide 3,000 Regenda residents around Merseyside with a range of day-to-day maintenance including joinery, plastering and electrical work.

M&Y has worked with Regenda for the last two years.

M&Y managing director Graham Yates said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to continue our work with The Regenda Group and to improve the services we offer to its residents. This contract safeguards local jobs utilising local skills.

“We put a lot of time and effort into proving how M&Y Joinery could win this contract throughout the stringent tendering process and are pleased to be continuing our working relationship with Regenda.”

Regenda executive director Tracy Heyes said: “We are delighted to appoint M&Y Joinery. They simply were the best company for this job.”
