CITY centre hotel Radisson SAS Liverpool has appointed Peter Sivy as director of operations to drive forward the Filini restaurant brand.
Mr Sivy comes to Liverpool after spending four years as Food and Beverage Manager at Radisson SAS London Stansted Airport. He managed outlets including the Wine Tower Bar, a 13m-high structure housing 4,000 bottles served by “wine angels” suspended on ropes.
LIVERPOOL-BASED architects Austin-Smith:Lord have appointed Maggie Mullan as a partner after nine years with the firm.
Higher and further education specialist Ms Mullan, 40, has been a director at the firm since 1999 and is currently overseeing a £20m project at John Moores University.
The firm has also promoted Richard Cronin and Andy Smith to directors.
GLOW New Media has recruited Matt Smith as web designer and Kate Moss as finance administrator. Mr Smith has previously worked with BT and PlusNet, a major UK Internet Service provider. Ms Moss will look at the operational aspects of the Hanover Street business.
