EVERTON FC has appointed Peter Trembling as Head of Commercial.

He will join the Premier League club’s executive management team and oversee its partnerships and corporate sales departments.

Mr Trembling has worked for the last eight years as a specialist consultant to a number of European football clubs and was previously instrumental in the development of the Sports Affinity Business for MBNA International.

LIVERPOOL property law practice Rees-Roberts Solicitors has appointed Zoe Simmons as a paralegal.

Ms Simmons, 25, joins the India Buildings team from Grindeys in Stoke-on-Trent.

She has completed her legal practice course and aims to qualify by 2010.

CHRIS BURGOYNE has joined Handelsbanken’s Chester branch as corporate manager covering west Cheshire and North Wales.

Mr Burgoyne has more than 31 years’ banking experience, primarily in relat-ionship manag-ement roles and most recently as North Wales area director of HSBC.

He works with many societies, clubs and charitable organisations and featured in the Western Mail’s Top 200 Business People in Wales in 2005.

CREDIT management firm Intrum Justitia has appointed James Gallacher as IT director at its UK headquarters in Liverpool.

Mr Gallacher, of Runcorn has spent more than 15 years working for some of the biggest names in the retail telecoms sector, most recently with Phones4U.
