Surprise successfor PRO

A WIRRAL PR manager has been named one of the industry’s brightest young talents by trade publication PR Week.

Anna Beaumont, of Birkenhead agency ICE, has been named in the magazine’s “29 under 29” list of young achievers.

The list showcases PR professionals who have already made a “major impression”.

Ms Beaumont, 28, was nominated for her work on some of ICE’s key accounts, including the Department of Health’s £2.17m National Healthy Schools Programme. She has also carried out a research project into the role of PR in social marketing.

She said: “I had absolutely no idea I’d even been nominated for the list until PR Week contacted me to tell me I had been selected from among hundreds of entries, and I was absolutely thrilled with the news.”
